The Best Places on Earth for Hot Air Balloon Rides

If you're looking for serene mode of travel, panoramic views, and you don't mind waking up early, keep reading! Almost all hot air balloons take off early in the morning because of the cooler temperatures, and the sunrise from up there is pretty incredible.  No matter what part of the globe you travel to, chances are you can find a company that offers hot air balloon tours. We've put together a list of some of the most spectacular hot air balloon experiences from all over the world!

If there is a better way to experience a safari than riding in a hot air balloon, we've yet to hear of it. Balloons launch as the sun rises, and then slowly drift wherever the wind takes them. No two balloon safari's are alike, so you can say your experience was truly unique. There are always balloon tours in the morning, so if you are awake for the sunrise you'll also see hot air balloons floating over the horizon. Bagan, Myanmar

Although somewhat pricey, hot air ballooning in Bagan is a once in a lifetime experience. You'll soar over  Buddhist temples and ancient pagodas, taking in the landscape from a birds-eye view.
