It's important to note that damage by third-party is not covered by our warranty. If you spot the damage of your luggage when collecting it from a transit station, we suggest you file a claim with the airline immediately.
Gabbiano Luggage's products carry a 5 year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase with our authorized retailers. It is important to note that our warranty does not cover fabric fading, damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, mishandling, improper care; especially moving parts and wheels or any component parts, including handling by third parties. Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed.
Airline damage or mishandling is also not covered by our warranty. Inspect your Product immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging your product) at the place of arrival as soon as possible. If a combination lock is provided, this warranty does not cover the inability to remember the lock's combination.
All warranty requests will be handled online only. A clear photo of the damaged part, the original receipt, warranty tag, along with a fee($24.95) to cover the service charge is required. A copy of the warranty certificate is required in order to be eligible for warranty coverage. Upon reviewing the product, Gabbiano will decide whether the defect is covered by the warranty. The shipping costs are borne by the purchaser. The product must be returned to Gabbiano Luggage Inc. in new, unused condition in order to be repaired or replaced. Please make sure to follow the instruction on the website every time you need warranty. This policy could change without notice.
This warranty only applies in the Continental U.S. Please note that we do not offer refunds for any defective products.
For repair or replacement, please fill the Warranty Claim Form below. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive a response from us. We will not process claims that are incomplete or missing required information as stated on the Warranty Procedures. Please also note that products returned to us without authorization will not be accepted for repair or replacement and will be discarded without notice. We do not accept in-person deliveries unless authorized by Gabbiano Luggage Inc.
Airlines are the most common cause of damage to luggage. Gabbiano Luggage Inc. is not responsible for any damage that occurs while the luggage in transit. We strongly suggest that, should your piece of luggage be damaged while flying, you report it to the airline that you have flown with before you leave the airport. We suggest you check your luggage for signs of damage once you have collected it from the carousel.
Gabbiano Luggage Inc. reserves the rights to make the final judgment on all claims. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
